We offer a many different types of healing sessions to our clients, because we know one size does not fit all! Reiki/Energy healing sessions are offered for children, adults, couples, pets, and long-distance sessions. Enhanced sessions available on-site only for children 10+ and adults.

Standard Reiki and Energy Bodywork
Tune up your whole system and release emotional and physical pain in a very gentle way. Let go of hurt, pain, and suffering organically and with ease.
Each session includes a cleansing and clearing smudge spray. Angels, guides, and ancestors are invited to join us through prayers and intention and make our connection with Spirit as powerful as possible. This beautiful and sacred ceremony allows Divine presence to fill the room.
Enhanced Reiki and Energy Bodywork
Do you have a special area of life that needs to be addressed? Try one of our enhanced sessions. We can combine Reiki sessions with the use of Crystals, Pendulum work, aromatherapy, intuitive oil readings, smudging, egg cleansing (limpia), or Champi stone sessions to name a few! (Champi Stones have been employed by Shamans for centuries for healing and clearing the chakras and energy system. Connects to the power of the seven sacred Peruvian mountains, each of which represents a particular chakra.)
Sound Healing to Repair Broken DNA and the Nervous System
Sound healing's more than 40,000+ year orgins can be traced back to Australian dideridoos, Tibetan singing bowls, Native American shamanic drums and Egyptian sound chambers. These vibrations reduce stress and help synchronize brain wave frequencies, resulting in feelings of peacefulness and balance to assist us in healing.
Sessions include instruments such as the gong, crystal healing pyramids, rattles, drums, and Tibetan cymbals and/or Tibetan singing bowls, coupled with (or without) Reiki healing.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports the body's natural ability to heal. During a Reiki session, life-force energy is directed where it is most needed to help restore balance on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
What is energy healing?
Energy healing is a broad term used to describe healing practices that work with the body's subtle energy systems. Reiki is one form of energy healing. At The Health Hut, sessions may also incorporate sound healing, crystals, pendulum clearing, smudging, intuitive guidance, or other holistic techniques depending on your needs and goals.
What happens during a Reiki session?
You'll remain fully clothed while relaxing on a comfortable treatment table. I gently place my hands on or just above different areas of your body while allowing healing energy to flow where it is needed most. Every session is personalized, and I may incorporate sound healing, crystals, aromatherapy, or other energy-based techniques when appropriate.
What does Reiki feel like?
Everyone experiences Reiki differently. Some people feel warmth, tingling, waves of relaxation, or gentle pulsing sensations. Others experience emotional release, vivid imagery, or simply a deep sense of peace. Some people feel very little during the session but notice positive changes in the hours or days that follow.
How many Reiki sessions will I need?
The answer depends on your goals and the issues you're working through. Some people feel significant relief after one session, while others benefit from a series of sessions to support deeper healing. We'll discuss a plan that's appropriate for your individual needs. For the average person just wanting to stay cleared and balanced, I recommend scheduling a session at least twice a year.
Can Reiki help with stress and anxiety?
Many clients seek Reiki to reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and promote emotional balance. While Reiki is not a medical treatment for anxiety or other mental health conditions, many people find it to be a deeply relaxing complementary practice that supports overall well-being.
Can Reiki be combined with medical care?
Absolutely. Reiki is considered a complementary wellness practice and can be received alongside conventional medical care, counseling, chiropractic care, massage therapy, and other holistic approaches. It should never replace advice or treatment from your licensed healthcare provider. I have worked with clients undergoing cancer treatment many, many times and they find that Reiki helps them feel much better. It can help ameliorate some of the side effects. It is very helpful in relieving pain as well.
What is sound healing?
Sound healing uses the vibration of instruments such as singing bowls, tuning forks, drums, bells, or chimes to encourage deep relaxation and energetic balance. Many clients find that sound helps quiet the mind, release tension, and enhance the effects of an energy healing session.
How are crystals used during an energy healing session?
Crystals may be placed on or around the body to support relaxation and complement the healing experience. Different crystals are traditionally associated with different qualities such as grounding, emotional balance, protection, or clarity. Crystals are used as supportive tools and are incorporated only when appropriate for the individual session.
What is a cord cutting ceremony?
A cord cutting ceremony is an energetic practice intended to help people release unhealthy emotional attachments, limiting patterns, or relationships that no longer serve their highest good. It is not about ending relationships or forgetting people. Instead, the intention is to release unhealthy energetic ties while keeping the wisdom, love, and lessons that remain valuable.
What is an energetic clearing?
Energetic clearing is designed to help release stagnant or heavy energy that may accumulate through stress, emotional experiences, difficult environments, or major life changes. Depending on your needs, this may include Reiki, smudging, pendulum work, sound healing, crystals, or other energy-based techniques.
What is The Works Package?
The Works is my signature Comprehensive Healing Experience. This personalized session combines several healing modalities—including Reiki, energy clearing, sound healing, crystals, pendulum work, smudging, and intuitive guidance—to create a comprehensive healing experience tailored specifically to your needs.
Do I need to believe in Reiki for it to work?
No. Reiki does not require a particular belief system or religious affiliation. Many people come simply looking for relaxation or stress relief, while others seek support during life transitions or spiritual growth. An open mind is helpful, but belief is not required.
Is Reiki associated with a religion?
No. Reiki is a spiritual practice in the sense that it encourages balance, compassion, and well-being, but it is not affiliated with any religion. People of all faiths—or no faith at all—are welcome.
Can children receive Reiki?
Yes. I have worked with many children, from infants to teens. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that many families choose for children experiencing stress, emotional challenges, or major life transitions. Sessions are always adapted to the child's age, comfort level, and individual needs.
Can animals receive energy healing?
Yes. Animals often respond beautifully to energy healing because they tend to be very receptive to subtle energy. Reiki may help promote relaxation and support emotional well-being for pets experiencing stress, aging, illness, or recovery. Energy healing is complementary and should never replace veterinary care. We do have a no-bite rule; if you have a pet that bites, they must be in a crate or enclosure. Reiki will be performed outside of the crate or enclosure.
Do you offer distance Reiki?
Yes. Energy healing sessions can also be offered remotely for clients who cannot visit in person. Many clients enjoy the convenience of receiving Reiki from the comfort of their own homes.
How should I prepare for my session?
Wear comfortable clothing, stay hydrated, and come with an open mind. You may wish to spend a few moments reflecting on your intentions, although this is not required. Simply relaxing and allowing yourself to receive is often the best preparation.
What should I expect after my session?
Many people leave feeling deeply relaxed, peaceful, and grounded. Some notice increased energy, greater mental clarity, or emotional release over the next few days. Drinking water, resting if needed, and paying attention to your body's responses can help support the integration process.
Is Reiki safe?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive complementary wellness practice that is generally considered safe for most people. It is intended to support relaxation and overall well-being and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
